Doctor Krista McDonald, a twenty-seven-year-old beautiful blonde, has an opportunity to remake herself as veterinarian. Recruited by an older woman, Dixie Mason, to move out of state to start her own practice and also care for the woman’s livestock on her ranch, Krista feels like the opportunity is almost too good to be true. As it turns out… there is no almost about it! It is too good to be true.
Dixie Mason runs an all-female ponygirl ranch. Dixie trains ponygirls, races them at the nearby casino against the tribe’s stock of ponygirls, and also sells ponygirls for profit. The ranch has female ranch hands and extremely feminine ponygirls.
Dixie expects Krista to be both doctor and vet for the ranch. But does she expect even more than that? Is it a business or is it a sexual trap? The ranch fore-woman behaves like a butch lesbian and Dixie’s daughter behaves like a sadistic lesbian. Soon, Krista even gets dominant lesbian vibes from Dixie!
That might not be the only kind of “vibes” Krista will be getting….
Krista thinks she should get out of dodge – or in this case, southern Indiana – but wants to solve the mystery of where Dixie gets these ponygirls and whether they are willing to be ponygirls. She does not suspect that soon she’ll wear ponygirl gear and will be forced to become more and more willing despite her reluctance.

Great first book. It will be interesting Dixie explain what happened and get Krista back to the house. The next day with fore-woman learning more about ponygirl treatment should be interesting.
Book 2 will start with good action. One of the things I’m doing in this series is for a sort of double race in which Krista learns more and more about what is going on at the Mason Ranch and what kinds of activities the other women are up to while they also gradually learn more about her, much to her embarrassment. As well, they are making changes in her, developing new appetites within her. She is helpful and wants to help the ponygirls but needs to help herself as others help themselves to her.
I know what you mean about pace of seduction. Longer can be so worthwhile. However, others adopt more of a “get to the point” philosophy. I don’t really target slow or fast, the circumstance and the characters pretty much control my writing. In a sense, I submit to those factors as I write rather than “dominating” my writing.
