Now, the “brag”. This Chapter 5 of Book 3 I personally consider my all time favorite chapter of anything and everything I’ve written. It is a massive “chapter” at 6,670 words. More like a novella. I love the two characters in this chapter, Lai Ping and Bailey, so much!
Finally, best for last, here is what is most important: My friend Dee! Dee helped edit this chapter and had some great ideas and needed corrections. To quantify Dee’s contribution, we can put it in words added valuation. I sent the chapter to Dee at 5,694 words. After making Dee’s suggested additions and changes and after Dee’s input made some of my more remote neurons come to life, Chapter 5 is now 6,670 words, a nearly 15% increase!
